Purple Duck began as a simple craft project making candles with my grandchildren, but it quickly grew into something much more meaningful. For years, I had suffered from headaches and feeling unwell whenever I was around traditional fragrances. This project sparked my curiosity, and I set out to understand why. Through extensive research, I discovered that parabens, phthalates, and other harsh chemicals—often added to make scents last longer—were the culprits. Determined to find a better way, I took classes, conducted in-depth studies, and tested hundreds of candles. What started as candles soon expanded into perfumes, lotions, room sprays, beard oils, baby washes, and more—all formulated without harmful chemicals that can negatively impact health. Since creating Purple Duck, I no longer experience fragrance-related headaches, and many others have shared similar relief. My mission is simple: to ensure everyone can enjoy beautiful, long-lasting fragrances without compromising their health.
